Thank you for the opportunity you gave me to visit such a beautiful country and meet amazing people, as well as enabling me to contribute to your charity and see the truly outstanding work that it does. The trip in November was tremendously thought provoking and a life changing experience. I enjoyed every moment of it, and I'm sure that I will reflect on it for many years.
I am inspired by the commitment and dedication you have for BACE and for assisting Bonsa's (and The Gambia's) development. The contributions that you have already made are remarkable. I am sure BACE will continue to progress and provide aid and advancement for many more people.
I am honoured to have been part of BACE and alongside this donation, I have set up a direct debit and would also like to continue to contribute to your charity.
Nothing seems more fitting than the words of a great man, "Overcoming poverty is not a task of charity, it is an act of justice. Like Slavery and Apartheid, poverty is not natural. It is man-made and it can be overcome and eradicated by the actions of human beings. Sometimes it falls on a generation to be great. YOU can be that great generation. Let your greatness blossom" Nelson Mandela
The kindest regards,
Lucy Garrett
